2,960 buses were registered with Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) in the first ten of the current calendar year.
Of them, 2,463 buses were registered in Dhaka from January to October 2019, according to a data provided by the transport regulator.
The data also revealed that 2,755 buses were registered in 2018 and 3,760 in 2017.
