UCB signs MoU with NAGAD

United Commercial Bank has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ‘NAGAD’, the digital financial service of Bangladesh Post Office that is operated by Third Wave Technologies Limited.

Md Sohrab Mustafa, Deputy Managing Director, UCB and Mostafa Kamal Ahmed FCA, Head of Finance & Company Secretary, NAGAD signed the deal on behalf of their respective companies, said a media release received today (Monday).

Under the agreement, UCB will act as the nationwide payment bank of NAGAD.

Md Abdullah Al Mamoon, DMD, UCB, Md Sekander-E-Azam, Head of Transaction Banking, UCB, Ikram Farid Chowdhury, SVP, BM, UCB and Irfanul Huq, Chief Sales Officer, Nagad were also present among other officials from both of the organisations.
