Popular reality show 'Ispahani Mirzapore Banglabid’ is set to start its second year competition on Friday aiming to motivate the young generation to use and practice Bangla language correctly.
Channel i, the sponsor and organiser of the Bangla language and knowledge-based reality show, will broadcast the live segment on Friday at 7:45 pm.
The Banglabid show is scheduled to take place at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in the capital, said a press release on Wednesday.
The country's leading brand Ispahani Mirzapore is the key initiator and sponsor of the Banglabid (experts in Bangla) competition.
The main objectives of the competition are to find out the best of people who are skilled in Bangla spelling and grammar and also to promote the language and its correct uses to the new generation.
In the final phase of the game, the top ranked player among six best highest scorers of the Banglabid, will have the opportunity to win Tk 1.0 million.
Second and third best players can bag Tk 0.3 million (Tk 300,000) and Tk 0.2 (Tk 200,000) million respectively.
Other than the grand prizes, top 10 contestants of the Banglabid, will get 1 laptop each along with Tk 50,000 worth of Bangla books and book shelves for personal use.
