Seminar on inter-religious harmony held

An international seminar on"Inter-Religious Harmony and Banglar Rumi Syed Ahmadul Huq" was held in Kolkata recently to discuss how the universal message of love and empathy considered vital for sufi mystic traditions can make an important contribution to promotion of inter-religious harmony and peace societies.

Minister for School Education & Higher Education and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of West Bengal Mr. Partha Chatterjee launched the release of the two volumes of the collected works of Banglar Rumi Syed Ahmadul Huq on Sufism while President, The Asiatic Society-Kolkata Professor Isha Mahammad, General Secretary, The Asiatic Society-Kolkata Dr. Satyabrata Chakrabarti, Vice President, The Asiatic Society-Kolkata Professor Alok Kanti Bhaumik, Fellow of Asiatic Society-Dhaka, Bangladesh Professor Dr. Abdul Momin Choudhury and Adviser, Allama Rumi Society Bangladesh Syed Mahmudul Huq were present.
