Transactions of all banks will remain closed on Sunday (tomorrow) as it is the last day of 2017.
"Banking transactions will be closed. But we will perform our official activities," said Abdul Baten Chowdhury, head of the principal branch of the Southeast Bank Limited.
BSS says there will also be no transactions at Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) on the day.
