The country's apex trade body has pledged to work for the welfare of the society.
It also promised to launch tough movement against abuse of drugs, eliminate child labour and create awareness on autism.
The decisions of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) were made on Monday at its standing committee meeting relating to the ministry of social welfare at its board room.
They also underscored the need for chalking out elaborate programmes for implementing the decisions.

Chairman of the standing committee Sarwar Hasan Alo presided over the meeting.
He outlined some plans of social work on behalf of the committee.
FBCCI directors Nizamuddin Rajesh and Hafez Harun-Or-Roshid and a good number of businessmen were present.
