Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (RAKUB) earned Taka 42.45 crore as operating profit in the just concluded financial year 2018-19.
The success comes out due to concerted effort of all officers and staff of the bank through arrangement of successful programs like open loan disbursement camps, loan fair, loan recovery grand camps, deposit mobilization fair etc. at branch level.
As a result, the bank has been able to disburse loan amounting to Tk. 2352 crore which is 107% against the target, recover the loan including classified loan amounting to Tk 2529 crore which is 127% against the target and raise the deposit amounting to Tk. 5201 crore. Besides the number of loss-making branches has reduced to 46 from 63 in this financial year.
Chairman and Managing Director of RAKUB congratulated all officers and staff of the bank for the resounding success.
