Abu Taher, the executive editor of the daily Bangladesh Pratidin, has been promoted to the post of acting editor of the media outlet.
The promotion was announced in a memo from the Bashundhara Group-owned East West Media Group, reports bdnews24.com.
As per office order, his appointment took effect from Aug 21.
The current editor of Bangladesh Pratidin is Naem Nizam.
