Another Bangladeshi mountaineer, the fifth Bangladeshi, has climbed to the peak of the Mount Everest. Babar Ali, from Chattogram, flew the flag of Bangladesh on the world's highest peak on Sunday morning.

He reached the summit at 8:30 am (Nepal time), Farhan Zaman, the chief coordinator of the expedition, told a local daily newspaper.

His mountaineering club, Vertical Dreamers, announced his achievement through a Facebook post.

It said, “Babar is now on his way down to Camp-4. It will take time to get pictures as it is not possible to communicate with him in the death zone.”
