The Canadian government on Sunday is willing to cooperate in the development of airports in Bangladesh, including the security system.
Canada came up with the willingness while a delegation of Canadian Commercial Corporation, led by Canadian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Benoit Prefontaine, met State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali at his office in the city, according to an official release.
During the meeting, Ali said the bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Canada are excellent.
He hoped that the relations would further strengthen in future.
Civil Aviation and Tourism Secretary Md Muhibul Haque, Canadian Commercial Corporation Vice President Carl Paul Marcotte and its regional (Asia) Director Youvin and senior officials of the ministry were present, reports UNB.
