Chief Adviser Prof Dr. Muhammad Yunus is expected to hold a bilateral meeting with US President Joe Biden on the sidelines of the 79th annual general assembly of United Nations in New York.
An official of Bangladesh’s foreign ministry confirmed the matter on Saturday night, according to local news portals.
However, the official did not provide the date and time of the probable meeting.
Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus will arrive in New York on September 23 by a commercial flight for a five-day visit. He will address the 79th session of the UN General Assembly on September 27.
