Land Secretary Md Mustafizur Rahman said that the hearing of e-mutation and miss cases through video conference will start soon, according to a press release.

This will make it easier for people to get land services -- the rate of receiving land services by going to the land office will be further reduced.

The land secretary said this while presiding over a coordination meeting with the divisional commissioners at the conference room of the land ministry at the secretariat on Sunday.

The Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury earlier gave a directive in this regard (hearing by video conferencing).

Mentioning that the primary work of the ministry is policy-making, the land secretary further said that the speed of work will increase further if the solution that can be solved at the field level is resolved at the field level.

Land issues such as online land development tax, e-mutation, digital record room, inter-district land disputes, construction of land offices, manpower recruitment, etc. were discussed in the coordination meeting.

Chairman of Land Appeal Board Ummul Hasna, Chairman of the Land Reform Board Md  Mostafa Kamal, all the divisional commissioners of Bangladesh, and additional secretaries of the Ministry of Land attended the meeting.
