An incident of indiscriminate firing was reported in front of the Islami Bank head office in the Dilkusha commercial area of Dhaka, where five bank officials were shot.
Hundreds of outsiders tried to force their way into the bank. When they were blocked, the officials were fired upon at around 10:30am, local media reports.
