JS body suggests long-term plan for maintaining quality of Milk Vita

The Parliamentary Committee on Public Undertakings has recommended a long-term plan so that Bangladesh Milk Producers’ Co-Operative Union Ltd (Milk Vita), a state-owned pasteurised milk producing company, can maintain the quality of their products.

The recommendation was made at the 5th meeting held at Parliament House with its president ASM Firoz in the chair, an official release said, reports BSS.

Committee members Mostafizur Rahman, Omar Faruk Chowdhury, Ismat Ara Sadek, Narayan Chandra Chand, Md. Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif, Mirza Azam, Mohammad Nazrul Islam and Md Zillul Hakim attended the meeting.

They discussed about the recruitment of more people to ensure better quality of milk so that Milk Vita could retain its reputation.

Overall activity of Bangladesh Milk Producers’ Co-Operative Union Ltd was also discussed in the meeting. Senior officials of the concerned ministry and Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat were also present at the meeting.
