A tourist who went missing in the Sangu River in Bandarban’s Thanchi Upazila has been found dead a day later.
Rescuers recovered the body after it surfaced near Tindumukh of the river on Sunday morning, according to Thanchi Fire Service and Civil Defence Station Leader Peyar Mahmud.
Boat services between Thanchi Sadar and Tindu remain suspended until Jul 30.
