United Finance PLC on Wednesday announced its financial results for the first half of 2026, reporting robust growth across all key performance metrics and reaffirming its position as one of Bangladesh’s most trusted non-bank financial institutions.

The company recorded a net profit of BDT 50.31 million for H1 2026, representing a 55.48% growth compared to the same period last year. Earnings per share (EPS) rose to BDT 0.27 from BDT 0.17, reflecting the strength of the company’s business model and disciplined financial management.

Operating profit before provision grew by 67% year-on-year, driven by strong growth in net interest income and prudent cost management, a testament to the company’s focus on operational efficiency.

United Finance’s total lease, loan, advance and investment portfolio reached BDT 23,489 million. The lease, loan, and advance portfolio grew by 4.26%, while the deposit portfolio stood at BDT 14,653 million, a growth of 11.12% against December 2025, reflecting increasing customer confidence in the institution.

United Finance continues to demonstrate its commitment to responsible finance. In H1 2026, 81% of total disbursements were channeled into green and sustainable financing, significantly exceeding the target set by Bangladesh Bank and reinforcing the company’s role as a responsible corporate citizen.

The company’s mobile app, UMA, continues to enhance customer experience through fully paperless and digital services, including account opening, account statement downloads, balance confirmation certificates, and AIT certificates, at no charge to customers. UMA reflects United Finance’s commitment to accessible and modern financial services.
