Agrani Bank PLC has acquired the ‘Top Ten Remittance Silver Award 2025’ as the second-highest remittance collector among all public and private commercial banks in 2024.
The award was received by the Chief Executive Officer of Agrani Bank PLC, Md. Anwarul Islam, during the opening ceremony of the "Branding Bangladesh" World Conference Series 2025, organized by the Center for NRB, according to a media release.
The Remittance Award ceremony, organized by the NRB, was held on Saturday, January 11, 2025.
The event's Chief Guest was the Foreign Affairs Advisor of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Md. Touhid Hossain.
The Special Guests included Barrister Saif Uddin Khaled, a distinguished British-Bangladeshi citizen and Speaker of Tower Hamlets, UK, and Dr. Ahsan H. Mansur, Governor of Bangladesh Bank.
The ceremony was presided over by the Chairperson of the NRB Center MS Shekil Chowdhury.
