UCB Bank PLC has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) to integrate its banking services into BIDA’s Online One Stop Service (OSS) Portal.
This strategic collaboration is designed to simplify and accelerate the investment journey for foreign investors by ensuring greater efficiency, transparency, and seamless access to both regulatory and financial services in Bangladesh, according to a media release.
Recently, the signing ceremony was held at the BIDA headquarters, where BIDA and UCB formalized their agreement.
Jiban Krishna Saha, Director General of BIDA, and Adnan Masud, Additional Managing Director of United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB), signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on behalf of their respective organizations. The event was presided over by Air Commodore Saharul Huda (Retd.), Executive Director of BIDA.
Among those Md. Shahinuzzaman, Additional Director of Bangladesh Bank, Shahbaz Talat, Head of Transaction Banking Division at UCB, along with other senior officials, were present at the event.
