Cargo van registration in Dhaka city witnessed a slight decline in 2018 compared to that of 2017.
A total of 1,224 cargo vans were registered in 2018 while the number was 1,285 in 2017, according to statistics provided by the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).
With the latest, a total of 9,173 cargo vans had been registered with the BRTA until 2018 in the city since launching of registration system, it said.
398 cargo vans in 2015 and 1,001 in 2016 were registered with the transport regulator in Dhaka, the BRTA data added.
