The 13th Dhaka Motor Show at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka witnessed huge crowd on Friday, the second day of the three-day event.
Besides, the visitors are visiting 4th Dhaka Bike Show 2018; 3rd Dhaka Auto Parts Show 2018 and 2nd Dhaka Commercial Automotive Show 2018 at the same venue.
The events were inaugurated by HT Imam, adviser to the Prime Minister for Political Affairs on Thursday.
The visitors and consumers thronged different stalls to get hands-on experience at the fair.
A large number of people visited the event to witness the three concept cars of Toyota and to see the 1300cc sports motorbike of Suzuki, said the organisers on Saturday.
Auditi, a visitor, told the FE that she was very much excited about the concept car.
“I dream that I will have it one day as it is my dream,” she said.
Mr Shalek Shahrier, head of marketing of Suzuki, told the FE that visitors have enjoyed every moment in the show.
The organisers also noticed that visitors were also busy in taking selfie in front of 1300cc sports motorbike.
This is the biggest and only International Exhibition on Automotive, Commercial Vehicle, Bike & Auto Parts sector in Bangladesh, said the organisers.
They also plan to make a one-stop single platform to showcase the latest developments and emerging technology for automobile industry.
Renowned and leading car distributors and dealers of Toyota, Honda, Mercedes Benz, Ford, Mitsubishi and Peugeot have showcased their products in over 620 booths from 16 countries across 5 halls at the ICCB.
Some lubricant companies, battery and CNG conversion companies and automotive component manufacturers & importers from Japan, France Korea, China, USA, Italy, Vietnam, UAE, India, Bangladesh have also joined the event.
