EBL signs participation agreement with BB

Eastern Bank Ltd (EBL) signed a participation agreement with Bangladesh Bank under the refinance scheme of Taka 50 million (5 crore) for pre-shipment credit.

EBL DMD and Head of Corporate Banking Ahmed Shaheen and Bangladesh Bank General Manager, Sustainable Finance Department Khondkar Morshed Millat signed the agreement on behalf of their respective sides in Dhaka recently, according to a media release.  

EBL Head of International Business Md Obaidul Islam and other senior officials from both the organisations were present.
