Golden jubilee of Sadharan Bima Corporation celebrated

Officials and employees of Sadharan Bima Corporation brought out a colourful rally in Dhaka on the occasion of its golden jubilee on Sunday.

Sadharan Bima Corporation, the only state-owned non-life insurer and reinsurer in Bangladesh, has celebrated its journey of 50 years in Dhaka on Sunday.

The celebration started with placing a wreath at the portrait of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. After that, the officials and employees of the organisation brought out a colourful rally. They also organised a discussion at the training centre of its head office.

Md Ziaul Islam, Chairman of Sadharan Bima Corporation, was the chief guest of the meeting. Managing Director (MD) of the organisation Sayed Bealal Hossain presided over it.

While speaking at the discussion, Md Ziaul Islam said, "I feel proud to be present at the golden jubilee of Sadharan Bima Corporation. The organisation remained profitable from its establishment in 1973."

He put emphasis on enhancing the premium income as well as quality of service and customer satisfaction.

MD of Sadharan Bima Corporation, Sayed Bealal Hossain, said, "The organisation has so far earned a record income with a growth rate of 169 per cent. It earned Tk 3.82 billion net premium income in 2022 and Tk 3.59 billion in 2021."

He urged everyone to work sincerely to build a 'Smart Bangladesh', as declared by the prime minister.

The officials and employees of the organisation joined the discussion.
