Midland Bank PLC (MDB), a fourth-generation private commercial bank in Bangladesh, observed its 13th Anniversary on June 21, 2026, through a Quran Khatam and Doa Mahfil, seeking blessings for the continued progress and prosperity of the Bank.
The program was held at the Bank’s Head Office in Gulshan-2, Dhaka, according to a press release.
Imtiaz U. Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO, along with Md. Zahid Hossain, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Risk Officer (CRO), Md. Nazmul Huda Sarkar, Deputy Managing Director & Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Senior Management Team Members and Divisional Heads participated in the event and offered prayers for the Bank’s sustained growth and success.
Speaking on the occasion, Imtiaz U. Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Bank’s valued customers, shareholders, regulators, and employees for their continued trust, support, and contribution throughout the Bank’s journey over the past thirteen years.
He noted that Midland Bank remains committed to providing innovative, customer-centric, and technology-driven banking services to meet the evolving needs of its customers.
He further emphasized that the Bank will continue to strengthen its digital banking ecosystem and deliver secure, convenient, and innovative financial solutions across the country while upholding the highest standards of service excellence.
As part of the anniversary celebrations, a cake-cutting ceremony was also held at the Head Office.
In addition, all Branches, Sub-Branches, and Agent Banking Centres of the Bank organised separate anniversary programs with customers, well-wishers, and local communities across the country.
