Founder and Managing Director of Snowtex Group SM Khaled has been honored with a Commercially Important Person (CIP) award in recognition of his significant contribution to the country's economy.
He received the CIP card at the CIP (Export and Trade)-2021 card distribution ceremony, organised by the Ministry of Commerce, on Sunday (June 25), according to a press release.
Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi handed over the card.
Mr Tipu Munshi was present as the chief guest on the occasion, while President of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Md Jasim Uddin was present there as a special guest.
Tapan Kanti Ghosh, senior secretary, Ministry of Commerce, presided over the event.
