UCB ATM booths facilitate cash withdrawals through UCB One app

Cash withdrawals from ATM booths are now possible without a card. Eliminating the need to carry cards in pockets or bags, this feature enables quick and easy cash access through a smartphone app.

This convenience is provided through the UCB One app by United Commercial Bank PLC (UCB). Sudden needs for cash while on the move no longer pose a problem, even when an ATM card is unavailable, according to a press release.

Through the UCB One app, UCB ATM booths facilitate cash withdrawals via a secure ‘Cash by Code’ system. The safety and security of this method have led to a significant rise in customer interest.

The recently revamped UCB One app offers an array of features, including instant account opening. Beyond standard banking operations, the platform simplifies shopping, utility bill payments, and purchases from various brands. With integrated offers, the app also facilitates food orders and travel ticket bookings.

Reports from UCB indicate that the adoption of the UCB One app is growing rapidly, backed by positive customer feedback. Consolidating multiple solutions into one platform has provided increased convenience. Additionally, the app streamlines transfer to Mobile Financial Services (MFS); entering the recipient's number automatically retrieves the account name, thereby minimising errors.
