BKB to disburse Tk 2.02bn loans in Narsingdi

Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) Narsingdi region has taken a plan to disburse Tk 2.02 billion as agriculture loans among farmers of the district during the current fiscal year 2018-19.

BKB sources said the bank has already disbursed Tk 89.7 million among 661 farmers through its 21 branches in the district till September-6.

The bank has also a plan to realise Tk 2.44 billion as outstanding loans during the same fiscal year, BSS reports.

The BKB disburses loans among farmers for crop cultivation, pisci-culture, livestock sector, poultry rearing, purchasing of agriculture equipment, small trading, marketing of agricultural products and socio-economic development activities.
