Monthly allowance of private resident students of different courses of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) has been doubled to Tk 20,000.
A total of 582 resident students of BSMMU will get the allowance, while 879 resident students of its affiliated medical colleges and institutes would also be given the allowance, an official release said.
Earlier, each student got Tk 10,000 per month, reports BSS.
