‘Dhaka University Telemedicine Programme’ has won the ‘Third Commonwealth Digital Health Award’.
The university achieved the award in the telemedicine category for outstanding contribution to developing healthcare quality in rural areas across the country, according to a DU press release on Sunday.
Director of Dhaka University Telemedicine Programme and Honorary Professor of Biomedical Physics and Technology (BMPT) department Dr Khondakar Siddique-e-Rabbani received the award at a function held in Colombo, Sri Lanka on October 12.
Dhaka University Telemedicine Program is being conducted by the BMPT department, reports UNB.
