The results of 'Gha' unit (combined unit for science, business studies and humanities group students) admission test of Dhaka University (DU) for 2018-2019 academic session under Social Science Faculty was published on Tuesday amid allegation of question paper leak.
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman announced the results at central admission office in the university's administrative building around 3.30 pm, reports UNB.
This year the combined pass rate is 26.21 per cent. In Science it is 24.56 per cent, in Humanities 47.89 per cent and in Business 17.94 per cent. Of 70,440 examinees, 18,463 admission seekers obtained the pass score.
The results are available on the university website www.admission.eis.du.ac.bd.
Students can also get the results through sending SMS using any mobile operator. To get result through SMS, one will have to type "DU GHA roll number" and send it to 16321.
Students who obtained the pass marks have been asked to fill in the subject choice forms from
October 22 to October 31.
