Department of Development Studies of the University of Dhaka (DU) organised orientation programme for the newly enrolled masters students of batch-15 on its campus Saturday.
DU Vice Chancellor Professor Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the event, said a press release on Sunday.
Fazle Kabir, Governor of Bangladesh Bank attended the ceremony as the chief guest along with the department head, Abu Yousuf in the chair.
Former Governor of Bangladesh Bank, also a faculty of the department, Dr Atiur Rahman delivered speech in the occasion.
The graduation ceremony of Masters of Development Studies programme was also held during the same event where graduating students of 13th batch were given a farewell.
