ICAB awards 40 students for outstanding academic results

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) awarded students who have achieved outstanding academic results in public examinations in 2018.

ICAB organised the award ceremony under the auspices of Members Services and Welfare Committee (MSWC) of the Council- ICAB at CA Bhaban on Thursday night.

A total of 40 progeny of ICAB members and employees were awarded the 'ICAB Brilliant Students' Award for the year 2018'.

Professor Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman, Vice Chancellor University of Dhaka handed over the crests, certificates, books and prize money to the award winners as the chief guest.

Anisul Hoque, Associate Editor of Prothom-Alo addressed the event as the special guest. 

ICAB President Dewan Nurul Islam FCA, MSWC chairman Mostafa Kamal FCA, Council Members, Secretary Major General Muhammad Imrul Quayes, ndc, psc (Retd) and other officials were also present in the event.

DU VC Md. Akhtaruzzaman in his speech appreciated the students for their result and urged students to build sound career and educated society through his inspirational speeches there.
