South Asia Partnership-Bangladesh (SAP-Bangladesh) has honoured Vice-Chancellor of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur Professor Dr. Major Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah for his contributions to the society.
The SAP-Bangladesh also honoured social worker, human rights activist and lawmaker Aroma Dutta for her social contributions.
SAP-Bangladesh Chairperson Dr. Nasir Uddin handed over the award to the educationist and social worker at a function at its office in the capital Saturday, said a press release.
According to SAP-Bangladesh website, the organisation is a national level NGO devoted to promote the socio-economic condition of the poorer section of the community in Bangladesh since its inception in 1984.
