Two-day int’l language conference begins in DU

A two-day long conference on “Language Teaching and Learning” has begun at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban Auditorium of Dhaka University (DU).

Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman, Vice-Chancellor of DU, inaugurated the conference started on Friday as the chief guest, according to a press release.

DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman thanked the authorities of DU Institute of Modern Languages for organising the international conference.

Director of the Institute of Modern Languages Prof Iffat Ara Nasreen Majid presided over the programme.

Russian MGIMO University Professor Dr Irina Prokofyeva and USA Professor Dr B Kumaravadivelu were present as the special guests.
