In the same movie, Steve Carrell will join as former Defence Secretary, Donald Rumsfeld, and Sam Rockwell will play the role as Bush.

Christian lately revealed to Variety Studio that he had been "eating many pies" to put on weight for his part as the 46th Vice President from 2001-2009.

Christian Bale first drops his weight to just 120lbs for a movie part by transforming himself for The Machinist in 2004. Then, eating only an apple and a can of tuna a day he lost 65lbs.
