Agroho has organised a free medical camp at its regional office at Nabinagar area in Savar upazila of Dhaka.
Dalia Rahman, chairperson of the organisation, inaugurated the day-long camp on Saturday morning, says a media release.
ATM Ridwanul Haque, chief executive of Agroho, Golam Rasul Sohan, advisor of Badhan central committee, Md. Nipun Ishtiaq, president of Badhan Jahangirnagar University, joined the event.
Some volunteers, local leaders of Awami League, and prominent personalities of the area were also present at the inauguration ceremony.
Renowned specialist doctors provided services in the free medical camp. Hundreds of people received free medicines with health check-up from the camp.
Blood group was tested the free medical camp, said the release.
Dalia Rahman said that Agroho will organise free medical camps in the area regularly to provide free eye care, kidney disease, breast cancer, cervical cancer treatment and other health issues so that health services can be reached at the doorstep of the people.
