Awareness workshop on Hepatitis-E

Robi and Milvik Bangladesh have jointly organised a day-long health awareness workshop on Hepatitis-E.

Robi’s mHealth solution, My Health, has teamed up with Milvik Bangladesh to sensitize the communities in Chattagram on Hepatitis-E disease in the wake of the sudden spread of this disease, said a statement.

Throughout the day, members of the community visited the workshop. Many of them took the benefit of having free consultation with a panel of doctors on general health check-up as well as on Hepatitis-E. In special cases, some of the visitors suffering from Hepatitis-E were referred to specialist doctors for immediate medical attention.

One of the key points of the workshop was to impart knowledge on how to wash someone’s hand properly as a preemptive measure to save oneself from contacting Hepatitis-E. Besides, the visitors were informed about the dos and don’ts of the disease.

Local Ward Counsellor Mr. Morshed Akter Chowdhury, Ward Counsellor Alhaj Abul Hashem, Robi’s Eastern Cluster Market Director, A.S.M. Enayetur Rahim and Regional Manager for Eastern Cluster Market, Md. Ashraful Kabir and Milvik Bangladesh’s Head of Sales Shahrukh Khan were present at the workshop.
