13 people lynched across country in Jan-Feb

At least 13 people were lynched in first two months of current calendar year across the country, according to a report by an independent rights body.

The report of Ain o Salish Kendra noted that maximum seven people were killed by mob beating in Dhaka division while four in Chattogram, one in Khulna and one in Barisal. 

Some 39 people were killed by the mob beating in 2018, the ASK data added.
