Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) recovered two pistols, three magazines and 13 rounds of bullet in Chapainawabganj on Thursday morning.
BGB sources said, a team of them on secret information raided Raghabbati area of Shibganj upazila at around 4:30 am and encountered a man coming from the Indian territory.
When the BGB members challenged him, he fled away leaving behind a bag. After searching the bag, the law enforcers found the US made pistols and ammunition, BSS reported.
The seized firearms and ammunition were deposited with Shibganj police station.
