A youth was killed when a pick-up van hit him in the city's Arambagh area early Friday.
Bacchu Mia, sub-inspector of Dhaka Medical College Hospital Police camp, said Shaon, 18, a mineral water supplier, was killed when a chicken-laden pick-up van hit him while crossing a road around 2:30 am.
Meanwhile, in another mishap, 13 people were injured when a human hauler overturned after being hit by a wrecker in the city's Matuail area around 4:30 am, reports UNB.
The injured were admitted to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital, said SI Bacchu.
