Coast guard seizes 80,000 Yaba tablets in Cox’s Bazar

Members of Coast Guard in a drive seized 80,000 Yaba tablets from Lomborighat area in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar on early Monday.

Lt Commander Faizul Islam Mandal, in-charge of Teknaf Coast Guard Station, said on information, a team conducted a drive in the area around 5 am.

Sensing the presence of the Coast Guard team, smugglers fled the scene leaving a sack containing Yaba tablets worth Tk 40 Million, reports UNB citing the official.
