A college student was killed when she fell from a human hauler at Shanir Akhra Bus Stand area in city's Kadamtali area on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Nusrat Jahan Jhuma, 19, a 1st year student of Eden College and daughter of Abul Hossain of Muradnagar upazila in Cumilla.
The accident took place at noon when Jhuma fell from the human hauler and sustained injuries on her head while it was crossing a speed breaker on the road, said Bacchu Mia, sub-inspector of Dhaka Medical College Hospital police camp.
Later she was taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared her dead around 1 pm, reports UNB.
