26 businesses fined for not hoisting flag in Jhenaidah

A mobile court in Jhenaidah on Wednesday fined 26 business organisations in the district town for not hoisting the national flag on the occasion of the International Mother Language Day.

Based on a complaint that some of the business houses in the town did not hoist the national flag, the mobile court, led by Additional District Magistrate Asaduzzaman, conducted the drive and collected total Tk 8,600 from 26 business entities, reports UNB.

The businessmen were also warned not to make such mistakes in the future.
