Law enforcers have detained 32 suspects from Dhaka city for their alleged involvement in selling and consuming drugs.
Different police station under the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) conducted the drives across the city and arrested the suspects.
Police have also seized 20,383 pieces of yaba pills, and some other drug items, according to a DMP statement on Wednesday.
A total of 23 cases were filed under the Narcotics Control Act against the drug suspects with the concerned police stations in the city, the statement added.
