A man was allegedly hacked to death by some miscreants over previous enmity at Mandia area under Harinakunda upazila in Jhenidah on Monday night.
The deceased was identified as Toaz Uddin, 50, son of Darat Mandal of Kalaparia residential area in the upazila.
Officer-in-charge of Harinakuda Police Station Asaduzzaman Munshi said Toaz was fishing in a water body in Mandia area at 11:00pm. A group of miscreants attacked him and hacked him to death.
Police arrested four people in this connection from Kalapari and Mandia areas after victim's son-in-law filed a case with Harinakunda Police Station early Tuesday over the murder, reports UNB.
