Three persons were killed and 20 others injured in a road mishap at Cross-Bridge area in Ghior upazila of Manikganj district on Tuesday afternoon.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Rifat Rahman Shamim, superintendent of Manikganj police, said the accident took place around 3:30pm as the bus tried to overtake a motorcycle and hit a roadside tree after losing control, leaving three dead on the spot and 20 others injured, of whom six were injured critically.
On information, police rushed to the spot and sent the corpses to Manikganj General Hospital for autopsy, reports UNB.
