Three people were killed when their motorcycle crashed into a roadside tree in Amtoli area on Nageshwari-Bhurungamari road in Kurigram on Monday morning.
The deceased were Motaleb (35), Sohel (32), and Sujon (30), hailing from Santospur union of Nageshwari upazila.
Officer-in-Charge of Nageshwari Police Station, Afzalul Islam said the accident left Motaleb dead on the spot.
Among the injured, Sohel succumbed to his injuries after being taken to Nageshwari Health Complex and Sujon died on his way to Rangpur Medical College Hospital, reports a local news agency.
