Nilphamari police on Tuesday morning recovered body of a youth from Bakdokra village in Domar upazila of the district.
The deceased was identified as Ariful Islam, 22, son of Mohammad Ali of the Bakdokra village in the upazila.
Local union parishad member Hasinur Rahman said that Ariful was security guard of an irrigation pump near the Saidpur railway, reports UNB.
Ariful was crushed under a Dhaka bound train - Nilsagor on Monday night.
A case was filed with government railway police (GRP) of Saidpur in this regard, police said.
