A prisoner under police custody escaped from Rajshahi court premises on Tuesday.
The prisoner who escaped is identified as Ibrahim Marshal of Shoroil area of Boalia in the district.
Officer-in-charge of Boalia Police Station Hafizur Rahman said the suspected criminal was arrested on Monday night.
According to UNB, Ibrahim fled with handcuff on his hands while police took him to appear before the district court 12 noon, he said.
