A prediction by the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Tuesday indicates that rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind may occur in different parts of Sylhet division in the next 24 hours.
"Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Sylhet division and weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country," said a BMD weather forecast issued at 9 am.
Night and day temperature may rise slightly over the country, reports BSS.
The maximum temperature was 33.2 degrees Celsius on Monday at Teknaf, Jessore, Chittagong and Khulna divisions respectively.
Tuesday's minimum temperature is 15.3 degrees Celsius at Sitakunda in Chittagong division.
The sun sets at 6.00 pm on Tuesday and rises at 6:22 am Wednesday in Dhaka city.
