Three people have been killed including a child and at least 20 people injured in a collision between two buses on Rajshahi-Chapainawabganj highway in Kamarpara area of Godagari upazila in Rajshahi on Tuesday morning.
The deceased bus driver was identified as Maruf Hossain (30), son of Ataur Rahman Titu, hailing from Kuthi village, another deceased was not identified immediately, a news agency reported.
Altab Hossain, sub-inspector of Godagari Police Station, said that the accident occurred when the two buses collided head-on around 8:30am, leaving the duo dead on the spot.
The injured were taken to Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital.
